OVERVIEW
Anubis is a popular character in the sci-fi series Stargate SG-1, inspired by the movie Stargate starring James Spader and Kurt Russell. The Anubis can be characterized as a having a jackal head which is loosely based on the Egyptian God of Death. At 150 cm this statue of this popular character is almost life like and carries a staff as his primary weapon. If you take a close look at how this piece of art was made, you will find that the makers of this model paid close attention to detail including muscle striations on the arm to make it look more realistic.Apart from being the leader of the Horus Guards, Anubis as also Ras First Prime. He commanded vast legions of Jaffa warriors and space-faring attack vessels. He was regarded as a god by his followers. Our MD47 Anubis statue stands about 150 cm and weighs around 120 kgs.
This is one of our statues which we usually make-to-order. Depending on our workload and available resources, creating this new usually takes between 1 and 3 months. It can be disassembled for easy of transportation and, for US, Canadian (and sometimes) UK customers we try to offer free or very subsidized to-door delivery.
